At the request of the "American School" in Prishtina, on 22.09.2011 a train trip with some children of this school took place. The route the train covered was Fushë Kosovë – Obiliq – Mitrovica and back. First, at the station in Fushë Kosovë, from where the departure to Mitrovica also took place, the children got to meet 4 artists from various countries, including Kosovo, who had worked for a week painting the train in various colors, which, when the children saw it, left them enchanted.
| During the trip the children enjoyed themselves very much, and this joy could also be seen in their sparkling eyes. Throughout the trip the children made sure to get answers to all the questions they had, which the train staff answered with pleasure.
During the trip the children stopped briefly at the Obiliq station, to sing and have fun. Afterwards they were joined by some children from the village of Plemetin, for most of whom it was also the first time traveling by train, and they were quite delighted. |

After the children of both schools had gotten to know each other, accompanied by their teachers, they boarded the train and continued their journey to Mitrovica.

The organizers of this trip gave the children colors and a sheet of paper each, so that they could draw and color the train the way they see it and imagine it in their minds. In Mitrovica they stopped for a few minutes, just enough to rest, before continuing their journey towards Prishtina, where the last destination of this quite memorable trip for the children was also located. |
In the end, after getting off the train, they were quite happy and delighted since they had experienced such enjoyment for the first time in their lives.
