Fushë Kosovë, 06 October 2015 – The training of train drivers (second group), according to the RVO project implementation timeline, was completed and supplemented with a few minor changes proposed compared to the training of the first group. Otherwise, the training was held very successfully by the same instructors and in the same facilities of the railway company ARRIVA, in two small towns of Eastern Netherlands – Zutphen and Winterswijk.
The staff assigned to conduct the training for the Operations and Safety Module held their sessions in the training hall in Zutphen, under the supervision and guidance of Mr. Peter Zorge. This was the first phase of the training in the Netherlands, while the second part will be held in Fushë Kosovë in the fourth week of November. The staff also had the opportunity to visit the rolling stock maintenance workshop of the company ARRIVA, as well as the central railway hub of the Netherlands, Utrecht.
TRAINKOS is grateful to all the trainers involved, especially the leader of the train drivers' group Mr. Ruud van Wagensveld and the leader of the Operations and Safety group Mr. Peter Zorge. This phase of the project was led and supervised by officials of the company EIS (Mr. Diederik van Leeuwen and consultant Mr. Jan Schippers). Work on the realization of the project is going very well, and the Dutch Government's investment for this purpose is proving worthwhile.
