Training of TRAINKOS staff in the Netherlands, Maintenance Module according to the RVO project implementation plan (26 October – 31 October 2015)

Fushë Kosovë, 06 November 2015 – The maintenance staff training module, according to the RVO project implementation timeline, was held from 26–31 October 2015. Led and conducted by EIS consultant Mr. Jan Schippers, it was successfully completed based on what was planned for this module under the project. This was the first training held in the Netherlands. The second part of the training in the Netherlands and the third in Fushë Kosovë will be held in April 2016.

This trip was also used as an opportunity to meet with the officials responsible for the RVO project, together with EIS officials and the project liaison officer, to discuss:

1. The progress of the project implementation so far;
2. Opportunities to benefit from a next project from the Government of the Netherlands, and
3. Making use of opportunities to find used rolling stock not being utilized in the Netherlands that could be worth donating to TRAINKOS.
